Anthony G. (Tony) Santiago entered the search field in 1980 and established TaxSearch Incorporated in 1987. While TaxSearch Incorporated services all areas of tax recruitment and compensation analysis, Tony is recognized for his expertise in assisting clients in building world-class tax departments. In addition to providing executive search services at the senior tax level, he is intimately involved in assisting tax departments on strategic planning including organizational benchmark assessments, compensation reviews and succession planning.

Santiago's clients include some of the most prominent Fortune 500 corporations in the world. In 1991, Tony was invited to be a founding member of The Pinnacle Group, an honorary association of the highest producing members of the recruiting industry. Tony has been a speaker at both the Annual Executive Leadership and general membership meetings of the Tax Executive Institute.

In 2001, Santiago created TaxTalent.com which began as a tax job board and offers free online resources to tax professionals and hiring authorities. Today, TaxTalent has become the largest online network for tax professionals in the world and Santiago is currently expanding the TaxTalent business with a new dimension of applications and tools specifically geared to assist tax professionals in online career management - from education to retirement. This groundbreaking system called "TaxLife" will feature a social networking platform and mobile applications designed to connect tax professionals with relevant content and resources that help optimize their professional experience online and maximize their careers.
